At Among Friends Adult Day Center, we provide a safe, welcoming daytime environment designed to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of older adults through purposeful engagement and compassionate care. Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our program offers structured activities, social connection, and personalized support with memberships tailored to each member’s needs—all while giving families peace of mind and the ability to continue their daily responsibilities knowing their loved one is in trusted hands.   • Comprehensive oversight to ensure each participant’s comfort, dignity, and well-being throughout the day:

    • ADA-compliant, fully handicapped-accessible facility

    • Staffing ratio of 1:6, supported by full-time and part-time employees as well as trained community volunteers

    • Comprehensive staff background checks

    • Licensed and regulated by the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Aging

  • Personalized wellness attention that encourages movement, mental sharpness, and emotional comfort:

    • Age-appropriate exercise and monthly physical-health assessments

    • Cognitive exercises and monthly cognitive-health assessments

    • Daily medication reminders and supervised medication support

    • Communication and coordination with third-party caregivers and healthcare providers

    • Private resting rooms for naps and quiet time

    • Private restrooms and showers available for personal hygiene

    • Entire facility designed to meet ADA accessibility standards

  • Balanced, flavorful meals created to nourish and support healthy aging:

    • Hot, nutritious lunches catered by Kitchen Social

    • Healthy morning and afternoon snacks provided daily

    • Take-home evening meals available upon request

    • All meals and snacks follow recommended dietary guidelines for older adults; special diets available based on medical needs and personal preferences

  • Stimulating activities to encourage good cognitive and mental health:

    • Puzzles, arts & crafts, and reading

    • Storytelling and shared life-experiences
